Hello everyone,

I thought this was a good excuse for me to pop my head out and say "hello".
Jan, questions like these are a great idea!!!!  You are doing a wonderful
job :-)

"What good has come from the birth/death of your child? "

Susanna's birth and death changed me and my life in so many ways - too
numerous to write them all here, but....
I always thought these things happen to 'other' people.  I now realise that
I am not infallible.  I have learnt to be so much more accepting and
patient.  I have a much better understanding and a profound respect of
special needs people and their families.
She taught me the true meaning of love.  She taught me to have faith.
I hope that through her life and death I have been able to make someone
else's journey a little easier to bear, by being able to share our
experiences with Susanna.
I learned of strengths within myself , John and my family that I never knew
existed.  I learned how lucky I am to have such a wonderful, supportive
family.
Susanna's life and death healed family rifts and bought us even closer
together.
It also bought out people's 'real colors' and helped me work out who my
'real' friends are - and I am very grateful for that.

I learned what a "blessing" was - because Susanna was our greatest blessing.
Every day I am grateful for the time we had with her.  I am changed because
she came into our lives.  I wouldn't trade one of those seconds for
anything.
She continues to change my life every day and I constantly look at things
differently.

Everyday is good because of Susanna being in our lives.  I haven't found a
downside yet!
