[tri-wings] "The Many Faces of Trisomy" Calendar

Hello!

Noah's Never Ending Rainbow is thrilled to announce a very exciting project
underway, "The Many Faces of Trisomy" calendar! And the even more exciting
news is that mother/daughter team of Jude and Kammie Wolpert are graciously
donating their time and talents on taking the photos for the calendar!

As most of you know, Jude is a photographer and so is Kammie, Jude's
youngest daughter who is age 8 and has Trisomy 18. Jude has designed a
camera that is adaptable to Kammie that allows her to take photographs. You
can meet Kammie the artist at http://shw.fotopages.com/2486285.html.

We are seeking a total of twelve (12) surviving children with Trisomy to
participate, one of which is already Kammie...we will select ten (10) more
children with Trisomy for the months of January to November and one (1)
alternate that Jude and Kam will take pictures of. The month of December
has been devoted to honoring all the Trisomy angels...I will collect the
photos and Jude will be putting together a photo montage. We felt that
December is symbolic of angels so it seemed fitting to dedicate the month of
December to all our precious angels.

With Jude and Kam being in Colorado and I in Wisconsin, we have decided that
the children's pictures will be taken at the SOFT conference in Rochester in
late-July. As much as we would LOVE to include all surviving children with
Trisomy, we have decided to honor one child with Trisomy a month and the
child will need to be present at the SOFT conference in order to get their
photo taken. If for some reason we get an overabundance of responses and we
can't feature each child, Jude and Kam are willing to do group photos and we
can incorporate them into the calendar but we will cross that bridge when we
come to it.

For those wishing to have your child selected for "The Many Faces of
Trisomy" calendar, please e-mail off-list with the following information by
Friday, July 15th as selections will be made the week of July 18th:

1.  Parent name(s);
2.  Child's name who has Trisomy or related chromosome disorder;
3.  Diagnosis of the child;
4.  Child's birthdate;
5.  1st choice month you would like to see your child featured in;
6. 2nd choice month you would like to see your child featured in; and
7. Contact information (address, phone number & e-mail address)

If your child is selected, I will contact you the week of July 18th and
would ask that you bring one prop that is representative of your child for
their photo at the SOFT conference.

For those wishing to submit a picture of their angel for the December
montage, we ask that you send a copy not the original photo... these are
your precious photos that we don't want to lose. We ask that you submit one
(1) picture of your angel and send it via mail to the address of:

The deadline for photos for the December angel montage is Friday, August
5th. The mailing of your photo constitutes permission to use the photo for
the December montage in "The Many Faces of Trisomy" calendar, however, upon
receiving the photo I will send you a "Child Photo Authorization & Release
Form for The Many Faces of Trisomy Calendar" that will need to be signed and
returned to me.

We are looking at having the calendars ready for sale by
late-September/October...a great Holiday gift!

With smiles,
