[tri-wings] Re: The Australian Fires-Elizabeth

Hi Elizabeth,
After I wrote and sent this (early this a.m.), I saw that Jocelyn was
asking Sue Whitehead if she was OK. I saw it on Sunday night, not
tonight - just how my mind works when it is still dark out. Tracey
and Jocelyn were the only ones that I knew for sure are in
Australia. I'm glad that you are OK, but I know how frightening it
is to have close friends and relatives in the thick of it. A couple
of months ago, several of my cousins had to evacuate their homes in
California. All ended well for them, but it was scary. I heard this
morning that 130 people have died; one whole town is gone. The
pictures on TV look devastating. Good luck all.

Hugs,
Sheila Helleson

hello Sheila
I am about 4 -6 hours away from the disastrous fires. It is just so
terrible and heartwrenching, I have close family and friends under
threat right now - they have chosen to stay and fight.
the temperatures were just rediculous on sat 50 deg C here in the
shade. and wild winds with it.
As i am new to the tri-family i don't really know where the other
families are but i hope they are all safe.
