[tri-wings] Re: Thank you...

My wife and I just got back from visiting her parents and taking them to =
the
cemetery. I stood next to my father-in-law and listened quietly as he =
prayed
over his parents' plots. He is 93 and his wife is 89. They still live on =
the
family farm together, but alone. About a mile from town and 90 miles =
from
us.=20

Lawrence casually mentioned that sometimes he had to crawl to his chair =
and
Mary Belle told us she fell in the yard and had to crawl up the stairs =
to
the back door. They won't let anyone come to provide health care and =
they
won't move. I helped my father-in-law change his wet pants. He required =
much
assistance to get him into the car. But he is a good man. A man of
integrity. They both have sharp minds.=20

Tomorrow I'm sure most if not all of us will be putting flowers on our
angel's graves. There is so terribly much pain and stress. =
Unfortunately, I
don't believe it is going to get much better, Brenda. Even if you get to =
be
in your late 90's. But we can help each other carry our burdens. What is
amazing, is that the more we help someone else carry their burden, the =
less
heavy our own become.=20

You are in my prayers.=20

Thank you all for the prayers . . .Don't want to have a pity party, but =
boy
do I need a rest
from the stress of my life these days...
