[tri-wings] Re: TRACKING RARE INCIDENCE SYNDROMES UPDATE

Since our Feb 1st online launch of the main project TRIS Survey, we have had
a total as of March 15, 2007 of 49 completed surveys!

This is a very encouraging start, but we've noticed that most of the
completions have been by parents of angels or living children with Trisomy
13. We're not complaining about the great turn out we're having with the
13's, but we'd like to see more 18's and other numbers in our data too. If
you haven't taken the survey yet, come on over and get activated.

I'm still in the process of contacting all of you in our database who
have expressed an interest in participating. For those who haven't already
written to us or would like to speed up the process, go to
http://web3.coehs.siu.edu/TRIS/NewUser.php to obtain an ID number to access
the survey.

If you'd like more information first, please visit our website at
http://www.coehs.siu.edu/tris. Click on the "TRIS Survey" link for
information about areas the survey covers.

Feel free to write to tris@xxxxxxx or directly to either Dr. Bruns at
dabruns@xxxxxxx or me (Fawna) at fawna33@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx if you have
additional questions.

Thanks to all of you for your support for this much needed project.
