[tri-wings] Re: -------THE WENTORFS-----------------

But with the two kids and being I have never driven there before I am not
going. Are kids even able to go?

Just wanted to let you know, in case it works out for you to go another
year, kids are very welcome at the SOFT Conference. They have a sib outing
they can go on, I think to a museum this year. They also have two workshops
just for kids--one for those that still have their SOFT sib, and one for
those that don't. Then there is also some other entertainment for the
kids. Also at the picnic there is always a lot to keep them occupied. If
anyone is interested, some families just come for the picnic and balloon
release if they don't want to come for the entire conference. There is a
special price for this. It's been a few years since Brenda went with us,
but she always enjoyed helping in the daycare. I think it was a great
influence on her--she has completed her RN course, and works parttime doing
home pediatric care for a medically fragile child. After she takes her
state boards she will be in a hospital, possibly in pediatrics.

I about fell off my chair when I read this: my parents just celebrated
their 60th this past weekend. You made me feel absolutely ancient!! Then I
read the next sentence, that they were both widowed!
It's great hearing that Gladys is doing well. Have a great trip!
Hugs to all!
Gloria--mommy to angel Erin(11/4/94-5/4/95) plus Loren, 26; Adam, 25;
Brenda, 21; Ashlyn, 10.
