I guess I should have read all the mails before I responded, because I think
my response to Tiffany also applies to you. Time does heal, but it doesn't
erase! The MOST frustrating part of the whole Trisomy Funpark(as it is
sarcastically called) is that people think that after X amount of time you
should be "over" it. You never get over it, you learn to live with it and
not in a way that you would ever wish on anyone. Jessica died 2 1/2 years
ago and yesterday I was putting some stuff in the hope chest (where I store
all the kids momentous) and I came across her memory box and sat there and
bawled like it was yesterday. The kids have gotten used to it, Jake walked
in, saw what I was doing, patted me on the back and then proceeded to ask if
he could go play with his friends (Like- ok mom, here's a hug, can I go
now?):o)
Unfortunately, it is normal to have bad days - but hopefully you feel
comfortable enough to come here and vent. That's what we are all here for.
Post when you want - we'll be here.
