Hi Shelly,
 That reminded me of my story. My sister Jackie passed at 6  yrs due to
Cancer. She was the middle sister of us three. We moved to Calif. from Neb.
and she underwent many surgeries. The first in which the doctor explained
he'd be doing a hysterectomy. My mom was so kid orented that she said, "You
mean she won't ever be able to have babies?" Of course the doctor said,
"we're trying to save her life." Now some 36 years later  & after losing
Kaden, My daughter said, "You know Jackie probably always wanted a baby and
now she has Kaden." It is a comfort and if we could see God's plan we'd
understand. Until then, We just need to believe, "God doesn't make
mistakes". This year I've been the whole gambid, Love & loss of my first
Grandson, Trouble with teens, trouble with family addictions,(and ex
girlfriends of my son's) divorce-sounds like a living nightmare-Well, one
day at a time and talking to my son in treatment today was a huge reward.
