Shelly,
Two things. I've been off the computer almost since school started and
didn't realize until Saturday that your mom was having surgery. I guess she
had already had it by then. I'm sorry that I didn't get to you sooner, but
I will keep both you and your mom, and the rest of your family in my
prayers. Forty-nine IS too young for by-pass, but as Stephanie said, it
isn't uncommon. Even if your mom isn't accepting hugs, please let her know
that they are on the way.
And, I did meet Gloria, Robin, Karah, Robin's mom- Eunice, I think, and her
other children, Spencer and Little Miss Sunshine (I can't remember her name,
either. Sorry. Gloria's daughters were there too - and Mike. And Robin's
niece. We had a grand time. I think we overwhelmed the poor waiter at
Perkin's. He got so mixed up, poor kid. But we had fun. Seems silly to go
50, 60, or even 80 miles for lunch, but it was worth it. We hope you can
join us next time.

Amy,
I'm doing it. You just have to go to reply. Cancel out the subject that
shows up and put whatever you want in that. And then, be sure to delete
all of the messages that you are not replying to. But this is the first
time that I'm replying to more than one message at a time from one digest.
Hope it is OK. But I agree with Mandy. It is easier to just post a single
message.

We really enjoyed meeting Sheila and had a great lunch at Perkins.
And I'm sure my husband won't soon let me forget the day I drove 80 miles to
"have lunch".

Gloria,
Thanks. It was fun. And I just told my husband that we had lunch at
Perkins. He can just imagine Marshall all he wants - even though it was
Brookings. Marshall is only 25 miles away.
Again, it was really nice meeting all of you. And I'm glad that you added
everyone's names. Now I can't say I can't remember.
