Finally after supplementing with many

but it was very expensive - $23.00 for a small can of powder (14oz) - that

1/2 months I switched her to Carnation Good Start Soy and she's done great
on that.
Deanna,
I can totally relate to milk allergies and the price of Alimentum. Julie was
on Alimentum for her first year, but it was paid for through WIC, so I really
couldn't complain, and she did really well on it. When I had Kayleigh I tried
unsuccessfully to nurse her, so I found out the hard way that she had an
allergy to milk and soy based formulas. She was put on Alimentum, its $25 a can
here (no WIC this time!!), for 4 months, and it helped her so much with her
stomach problems. Now that she is 5 months old, she has been weaned onto Good
Start Soy and so far so good. I just hope we don't have too much of a problem
switching to milk at a year old.
