[tri-wings] Re: Sharon - clueless families !!

 

I thought I would come out from where I've been hiding to express my eternal
thanks and gratitude to the families out there that have supported and
embraced us through our difficult times.  People can often be insensitive
andeven thoughtless, but thankfully that hasn't been my experience (mostly). 
My parents and my wife's mom joined us when our angel Mary was delivered
(already asleep) and cried with us, held our angel, kissed her, and told us
how beautiful she was (and is).  The priest who performed the ceremony, the
spiritual advisor from the hospital, our brothers and sisters and close
friends all shared in our grief and carried us on their backs during a
difficult but nonetheless  beautiful graveside service for our Mary Theresa. 
Oh yeah, God was there too.  In a big way.  It was a cloudy April morning,
with rain threatening at any moment.  But, when my wife's parish priest read
the scripture which says .. "and God said let the children come..." the
clouds parted and the sun bathed us with its warmth.  The clouds had parted
to let our baby into heaven.  I'm not usually one to go overboard with such
things, but I believe this was a sign to be happy, our child was safe and
happy.  Yeah, people may let us down, but God won't.  Don't let insensitive
people get you down.  We're all winners and the lists have helped me realize
that.  Sorry for the long message.  I'll go back into lurk now.  Peace out.
