There is so much that we do not understand regarding genetics. We marvel =

how a baby is formed in the mother's womb. And then when you add all the
psychological bonding and throw in a little love, I think we get a =
glimpse
of the face of God and His plan for our lives.=20

We found out about a month ago that my little sister (45 years old with =
5
boys all at home) has acute myeloid leukemia. I knew about as much about
leukemia as I did about Trisomy 18. So I started researching. I was
surprised to see some links between the two "abnormalities". Whether the
chromosome imbalances are inherited or acquired, and the person is still =
in
the womb or has delivered 5 boys herself, their value is beyond measure. =


The people in this group are so special. Sometimes I don't open the =
emails
because I feel the pain too deeply. I feel guilty when I only pop in to =
ask

stretch, but this list, more than any other that I've been associated =
