[tri-wings] Re: SV: insensitive relatives

The one thing I can say about my parents was that my mum asked if she could
see Emily after she was born, which she did. My dad surprised me the most
because I could see in his eyes he didn't want to see her...I think in fear
of what he might see, but when my mum asked him if he wanted to, he agreed.
The night before her funeral, my dad and I were chatting about Emily and he
told me that he was glad he went to see her and how she made him feel so
small and humble....hard to explain that knowing my dad as I do, but I
understood what he meant and after 5 years, I have never forgotten that.
He's the only person that has expressed something meaningful about her and I
love him for that.
