[tri-wings] SUperlurk

Dear All

Just a quick update (while I have enough strength to keep my eyelids open!)

Matthew has been home for just over a week now, and aside from one trip to 
hospital for a bumped head, we seem to be doing okay!  It's very tiring 
though, although I guess I don't have to tell you guys that!

He is making really good progress and has started to walk this week, which 
is very good news.  We had the first paediatric appointment today, which for 
a six hour round trip was frankly a waste of time.  Their conclusion was - 
(wait for it) - he is obviously delayed and need a proper assessment.  Which 
frankly I could have come up with myself!  GRRR.  So now we are on the 
waiting list for an assessment (update in a year probably!)

On a brighter note, we have his second birthday in two weeks time and I have 
run out of things to buy because everyone else has bought them! I have had 
enough sense to have the party elsewhere though, rather than in my house.

Let me know if anyone wants to see a picture (although it might take a 
fortnight before I can check my mail again)
