Sorry i'm late everyone but I've been quiet lately and behind on my mail.
Our daughter jessica nicole was born still april 21, 1999 with full trisomy
18. amy and i found out about it during the pregnancy and determined to
spend every moment we could getting to know our daughter and giving her the
chance to get to know us and how much we all love her. she had an asd, vsd,
pda, and other problems. she was a fighter all during the pregnancy but her
little heart just wasn't strong enough for delivery and she received her
wings during labor. but in her short time with us she has made an impact in
our lives that you wouldn't believe, just as all of our children have.
we have 2 other girls: amanda elizabeth ( mandy ) is almost 9, and
katherine marie ( katie ) is 4 1/2. they were involved all during the
pregnancy although katie wasn't really aware of what was going on. we all
spent several hours with jessica after her birth....talking to her, holding
her, singing to her, and letting her know how much we love her. we also took
a lot of pictures and of course we have the best picture of all.....our
memories.
