[tri-wings] Religious poem

Made me cry, but I really needed it...


=20 Dear Child,

=20 I look upon your heart and see your troubles.
=20 I search your soul and know its despair.
=20 You turn to Me but cannot find the words to pray.
=20 You look to Me but cannot find the song to sing.
=20 Do not worry, child of Mine.
=20 I know all that is within you, and I understand.
=20 For now, your silence will be a prayer to Me and your tears, an
offering.

=20 I do not wish for you to act a part.
=20 I do not require a spiritual charade.
=20 But bring Me, instead, your real feelings, your brokenness, yourself.=

=20 That is what I wait for, and I will meet you in the silence.
=20 There I will stay with you and heal your heart.
=20 And later, when the music has returned to your life,
=20 you will look back in love and recall this silent song we sang
together.

=20 Be quiet and know Me,

=20  God
