Nadine,

Explain to your hubby that unfortunately death is a
part of life and your future children need to know
they have a sister that is guiding their way.  My mom
lost my oldest brother when he was 3 days old and I
have know about him forever.  I used to ask my mom to
take me to his grave and As soon as I was able to
drive I started going to his grave on my birthday,
because it was also 
his birthday and I have ever since.  Now Jessica is
buried right by him.  Rylee, who is 2 knows that she
has an older sister in Heaven - not that she knows
what Heaven is, but she knows that there is a spirit
and we talk about her freely.  Whenever she has a
helium balloon she give it to Jessie - double bonus
for me because we don't have flat balloons laying
around the house LOL.  I don't think that it is
unhealthy for kids to know the good , the bad and the
ugly of life as long as it is explained t them in a
manner that they can understand.
