Thanks for sharing that story. It is so encouraging to hear.
In fact it reminded me of when we recieved Jonah's diagnosis. We had spent
two days at the hospital being told our son was a "lethal anomoly" ( i can't
stand that term). The suggestion was to terminate by doctors & by family. We
made the decision to carry Jonah as long as we could and on the 2 hr ferry
ride home ( we live on an island) there was a huge rainbow across the ocean.
I felt that it was God letting us know we had made the right choice and also
that he would be with with us.
Honestly, I needed to remember that today. I am going through a period where
I am wondering what things would have been like if I could have waited to be
induced one more week. Would Jonah have lived longer? These are things that
really have no anwsers. I Wonder at times if we did all the things we could
for him. Remebering the rainbow helps me realized we did the right things.
And that we were not alone in all this.

I am sorry to hear about your father. But I am glad that if your daughter
and father have to be gone atleast they are together. Rainbows will always
have a new meaning for both of us. What a great little gift!!!
