Thanks, Deanna!!
My thoughts exactly. But I thought he regretted not being there when
my dad died. He doesn't. My dad had Alzheimer's. My brother didn't
feel like he could handle it. And he still feels that way. (He and
his wife have decided that nothing is going to keep them from their
retirement vacations - Christmas in Seattle with his daughter and
others. But when it came time for her dad - one month after mine -
she was there - in Arizona. But my brother didn't go until after he
died, come to think about it. And when her mom had surgery - she was
there - but my brother went after she passed away. Strange.) I will
have to kick him in the butt. Maybe he just doesn't want the rest of
us to know he is human and can cry! MEN!
