Well, Tracey, that is an interesting question.  We always tease my  
mom about that.  She goes by Phyllis Holmberg which in reality is her  
middle name.  Her actual first name is Carlene which I don't even  
know how to spell for sure because she has never used it.  Her  
mother's sister was Caroline and her family did not want to get them  
mixed up, but her parents still named her that.  Very interesting.   
But to make it even more interesting, my dad always went by Leland  
(Lee) Holmberg which was in reality HIS MIDDLE name.  His first name  
was Everett.  When I asked my grandmother why they named him that and  
never called him that, she responded that after 4 boys and 2 girls,  
she just couldn't think of anything else so she asked her sister-in- 
law for suggestions.  And that is the name that Great Aunt Ella came  
up with.  We always thought it was funny that both of our parents  
used their middle names.  Nick-names are kind of a Holmberg quirk.   
And my mom was VERY determined that her children would not have nick- 
names like all of the other Holmbergs, so we have Michael (which  
automatically became Mike when he was old enough to decide), Gail,  
and Sheila.  So 2 out of 3 were successful names as far as my mom was  
concerned.

Honestly, I cannot write anything without rambling on and giving a  
whole history.  I'm so sorry.  I could have just given you her name  
for prayers.
