I just wanted you to know that there was a point when I was still pregnant
with Ashley that I felt completely broken about our situation.  This poem
describes exactly how I felt.  As a woman of prayer I could not understand
why it was so hard for me to pray to the God that I knew could give me
strength.  What I didn't know is that He was with me all along and it was ok
for me to feel that sense of sadness.  One night my husband found me sobbing
and asked what was wrong.  Up until this point I had tried so hard to make
everyone know I was ok.  I poured my heart out to him and told him that I
was in so much despair I couldn't find the words to pray and I felt guilt
that I couldn't even pray for my child.  He looked at me and tears filled
his eyes and he said, "Don't worry, I lift you and Ashley up in prayer every
day and I pray a blessing over you every night while you sleep."  It was at
that moment that I realized how powerful the prayers of others were and it
was that which had brought me through it all.

I told you all of that to get to this.  As you say you feel broken, let
others lift you up in prayer when you can't find the words.  Although I
haven't gotten to know you that well during the short time I've been the
Mother of a precious heavenly angel, I vow to pray for you and your family
that God will give you the strength to get through each passing day.  Rest
is Him.
