[tri-wings] Re: Platitudes--religion mentioned

At our Mass of Remembrance for parents who have lost children before, during
or after childbirth, our priest explained that the Catholic church believes
in baptism by intention. That means that if you wished to be baptized (or
your parents would have wished) but you did not get that chance before you
died, you have been baptized by intention. There is also baptism by blood
which is what a martyr might have if they died for the faith but were not
baptized. There is more about this in the Catholic Catechism.

Gloria's words are so true. How could a loving God condemn anyone much less
a little one from His presence just because they didn't get the chance to be
baptized? It is a whole different story if the person rejects God but how
can you reject Him if you don't even know about Him?

Had to throw my 2 cents in.
