Hi Sharon,
   
  It seems you and I have something in common in that we have family members 
who are completely insensitive, inconsiderate and lacking in any type of 
empathy for the suffering we have experienced.
   
  I'm so sorry for the cruel things that were said to you about your precious 
Sophie.  I understand how you feel about not wanting any contact with them, 
because I feel the same way.  I have completely shut those people who have hurt 
me out of my life.  It makes perfect sense to me to avoid those who hurt me or 
remind me of the unnecessary pain they have caused.  That's the thing about 
death--there are no second chances.
