I am so sorry that your FIL's health issues  have brought back so  
many bad memories... to dismiss your loss because you knew she was  
sick is ridiculous, as if love turns off based on a diagnosis.  How  
sad to have such a closed mind... and it sounds as if the brother  
inherited it from the dad...Your sweet Sophie will always have a  
place in my heart.
