[tri-wings] Re: Platitudes

Honestly,

I don't know that my grief is any deeper or different than that of any one
of you. I'm still amazed at how raw it is some days especially as I read what
our "well meaning" friends and relitives have said to us in an attempt to
somehow lessen our pain and their discomfort over an unbearable agony.

I was just told yesterday while out shoping with a friend that I "need to
just get over it. They've been gone a couple of years already." I corrected
her that they've been gone 15 and 16 months and I will never get over it. And,

I have every right to drop a tear or two when something reminds me of how
much I miss them.

Sometimes I think that my other kids are the real heros in all of this
because if I didn't have them I'd have joined the girls or gone crazy a long
time
ago........
