[tri-wings] Re: Platitudes

This is not a platitude but something hurtful that was said to me, by my SIL 
(whom I love) and I am sure not meant to be hurtful but was said because the 
way she was raised in her beliefs.  She said to me that Brittany will never go 
to Heaven and will just be (for lack of better words) "hanging in the abyss" 
because she was not baptized before she did and therefore cannot go to Heaven.  
Very hurtful to me because she was a 2 day old baby and how can God not take an 
innocent baby into his home?  I do not believe she is "hanging in the abyss" 
somewhere.  I believe she is a beautiful angel with a golden halo, as I believe 
all our angel babies are.  
 
As for platitudes, I have heard all the ones posted.  I particularly do not 
like these:  God must of had a special plan for her or God does things for a 
reason.  I would like to know what plan is more special than being with your 
Mother and I would also like to know what reason God would give to take away 
any innocent babies.  Of course I also hate At least you did not become 
attached.  Any woman who has been 5 seconds pregnant is already attached.
