Thought it was about time for an update from the Pass clan.
We have been back at the farm 6 months now and the excitement hasn't worn off
yet LOL. We are still waiting for our blueberries to turn up. David is in
full swing preparing the ground for the 300 plants that will arrive very soon.
We have 3 plants that have been in the ground for about 4 years and they are
fruiting madly even though they have been largely neglected so we figure if we
really look after the ones that are coming then we will have a fairly
profitable business. We have also planted some Boysenberries and raspberries
mmmmmm mouth watering just talking about it. So in a few years time I will
work part-time as a midwife and part-time as a farmers wife LOL and David and
Jesse will work fulltime on the farm eventually Jesse will take over David and
I will retire and travel woohoo OK I'm getting ahead of myself.
My motorbike is still great fun I am still on my learner licence and hope to go
for my full licence sometime in the New Year beecauseee on the 27th November I
am finally doing something about my girly troubles and my uterus is being
evicted. I hope to have a vaginal hysterectomy which will mean a much quicker
recovery period but I won't know till I'm in the recovery room which procedure
they use because they can't decide until they try under anaesthetic. I will
keep my ovaries so no problems with early menopause although I do believe I
will go through the 'change' a little earlier. And they will take my cervix so
no more Pap smears woohoo!!! Now that we have set a date which is really quick
I am a little nervous but I know it's the right decision. I thought I would
have to wait a really long time (for the aussies I am going public because I
have no private insurance) but once the decision was made the doctor asked me
when I would like to do it!!! I could have had it on the 13th of November but
thought it was better to give work a bit longer notice of my need for 6 weeks
sick leave. so what it means is that I will actually have 7 weeks off work
because I had holidays booked for the first 2 weeks of January. So I will be
on the puter a lot in those 7 weeks so watch out LOL.
Jen is still plugging along working casual at KMart and not doing much else.
She missed out on a really good opportunity for a fulltime position a few weeks
ago...only because she was lazy and didn't bother applying!!!!!!
Jono is in the middle of his HSC (final school exams) and will be finished by
the 30th of October.
Jesse isn't up to anything different really.
so there you have it
Don't worry about the world coming to an end tomorrow it's already tomorrow in
Australia
