[tri-wings] Pass family update - long so grab a cuppa

Dear all,
I thought it was about time I updated everyone as to the comings and goings in
the household of the Pass family.
Christmas and New Year was busier than usual because I worked both. A late
Christmas day and then an early Boxing Day and then the same NYE and New Year's
Day!!! can you say tired..... yes I was beat!! Christmas was lovely, we
spent Christmas Eve with my parents at their new house in Terrigal (they moved
in on the 17th of December!!) we missed seeing Dean my Nephew from my brother's
first marriage (that's a long story in itself...) But we had 'our' baby Riley
there and he was so fun to watch toddling around. On the way home we 'broke
down' (Dave's 4WD) in a service station and we were praying for a big truck to
come along to jumpstart us as the 6 cylinder commodore that tried just didn't
cut it then this monster truck drove in and this man covered in tattoos got
out.. short version we were jump started by a MONSTER truck!!! the kids
thought it was so cool. Christmas Day we went to Church and then Dave's folks
for lunch, I had to be at work by 2:30pm so we ate fairly early (for Christmas
Day anyway cause if your families are anything like ours sometimes lunch melds
into dinner!!!). David gave me some beautiful perfume which I love to wear and
smells divine~~~~mmmmmm.
On New Year's Day the kids went north with Dave's folks (some of you may
remember that for the last 2 years they have gone camping for a couple of weeks
with them and we have had peace and quiet) well this year we followed two days
later it was nice having the two days together we had dinner on the beach one
night and then went to the movies the following night ( saw Love Actually).
Then we joined everybody up north (Scott's Head for you aussies near Coffs
Harbour) it was a great time swimming at the beach, lazing around reading,
catching bait, fishing things we haven't done for quite sometime. Jono caught
some good fish.
On Thursday the two older kids went away with the youth group from church to
Port Macquarie for 4 days. So that left us with just Jesse who turned 10 on
Thursday. He decided to have his friend James come over for a sleepover so we
went to the pool for the day where they had some rides on the waterslide and
splashed about all day and ate junk food and then we had pizza for tea Jesse's
choice. Then Friday was his party at the bowling alley with 7 of his friends.
Saturday afternoon Jesse was lonely and bored so we packed him off to the
beach. On the way home we picked up Chinese for tea as you can see I wasn't in
the mood for cooking!!! I did make Jesse's birthday cake my first in 3
years!!! it was cool (Jesse's proclamation).

Yesterday I went back to work and now I need another holiday!!!!
