[tri-wings] Re: Off topic - lost a friend

Thank you to everyone who expressed concern and caring for me. When
I first started teaching, I lost my dearest friend to pancreatic
cancer. Her funeral was on what was supposed to be my first day of
work at my new ESL job. I agree. Losing a friend is very hard. But
like one of Jane's sons said today, "By having this past year and a
half with mom, we were able to start our grieving process lots
earlier and that makes this day easier for all of us." I can relate
to that after losing my dad to Alzheimer's disease and its
complications.
And having our daughter and granddaughter here helped a lot, too.
Again, thanks to everyone.

Love to all of you,
