Hi Tracey, 

The earth quake was in the Central California 
Coastal region.  I don't think anybody on these
lists lives in that part of the state.  My 
parents do, just about 15 miles south of Paso 
Robles, where the buildings collapsed, but they 
only had a few small items fall off of shelves
at their house.  Paso Robles is a very old town, 
with a lot of historical brick buildings that 
unfortunately weren't really built to with stand 
earth quakes.
