I've been thinking about this a lot lately.  Sometimes it has been hard
for me to say that I have 3 grandchildren and one on the way.  But as
I'm thinking about it, I've given some thought to my dad's family.  I
would never say that he has just one sister because she is the only one
left living. I always say that he had (my dad is no longer living
either) 8
brothers and sisters.  Should this be so hard?   I don't know.  But I
know
that if I'm talking about an elderly person we always talk about ALL of
their siblings. =20

I'm going to try harder to say "3 and one on the way" when asked how
many
grandchildren I have.  If I'm asked more, I'll explain more.   Thanks
for
putting this into perspective for me.  And I'm so sorry that I'm so late
in responding.  I just had to figure out how to say what I wanted to
say.
