(((((((((((Kathryn)))))))))))),
I've been thinking about this a lot lately. Sometimes it has been hard for
me to say that I have 3 grandchildren and one on the way. But as I'm
thinking about it, I've given some thought to my dad's family. I would
never say that he has just one sister because she is the only one left
living. I always say that he had (my dad is no longer living either) 8
brothers and sisters. Should this be so hard? I don't know. But I know
that if I'm talking about an elderly person we always talk about ALL of
their siblings.
I'm going to try harder to say "3 and one on the way" when asked how many
grandchildren I have. If I'm asked more, I'll explain more. Thanks for
putting this into perspective for me. And I'm so sorry that I'm so late in
responding. I just had to figure out how to say what I wanted to say.
