  Hi, Nikia
   
  My name is Jan and 7 years ago, I had my precious daughter, Jordan Ashley.  
She lived for 9 hours and had Trisomy 13 as well.  My oldest daughter was 3 at 
the time.  My oldest son was in school so that left my daughter seeing all the 
pain her mom was going through.  I am proud to say, my oldest daughter has 
taken all the pain she went through at such a young age, and transfered it into 
a heart of gold.  She is the kindest, sweetest, most compassionate child I 
know.  
   
  I am sorry you are having to travel this painful journey.  Your son Jason 
will always be a part of your family.  The living without him is a lifetime 
adjustment.  I remember the first two weeks I felt so alone.  I would be happy 
to talk with you, lend an ear or shoulder, etc.  I live in the Dallas area too.

know an excellent support group that I attended for about 2 years.  It was nice 
to go somewhere where others knew what it was like to have a baby die.
