Nancy My heart breaks for you. It must be so hard for you to watch Ian and not be able to fundamentally change what is happening for him. With your experience of Analee,it makes it even more difficult. I can understand what you mean, it sometimes feels that you're wishing them to stay on for you rather than for their own good. But in your heart you'll know when the time is right. I have no doubt that Ian will understand exactly how he is loved. The way you've dealt with Analee and Skye with the children has been phenomenal and I'm sure Ian understands things deep inside, even if he doesn't have the capacity to understand it all. It sounds like you're making this all as bearable as you possibly can for him. You've managed lots of great things, when many of us would just curl up in a corner and moan about how unfair it is. You make great parents to Ian, all the kids and the new little one you'll be taking on.
