Dear Maria,
I am so sorry for the loss of your baby. But I'm glad that you found
out about the trisomy and have come to Wings for support. This is a
great group. As you stay longer you will notice that everyone
supports you in whatever you are going through. I'm the grandmother
of a Trisomy baby who was born still at full term. The further my
daughter got into her pregnancy, the more sure I was that her baby,
Hope, would beat the odds and that she would be with them for a long
time. It was not to be. Hope would be 6 by now, but I think of her
every day. The loss is still there, but the raw pain has eased a
lot. I just want to be there for other new moms who are going
through this devastating news that there child is gone.
Come back any time you want to just cry or talk or just to see what
is happening. We will always be here.
Hugs,
