Hi Sheila,
Thanks so much for responding to my plea. Your
right, it is so hard right now. I've always tried not
to be an interfering Mom or Mother in Law so its
really hard to try and give them their space when you
see them hurting so much. My daughter and my son in
law who is almost like my son, are very strong people,
emotionally, intellectually, and spiritual but my
sister in law(husband's sister) also lost a set of
twins 15 years ago and she told me that right now she
in the crying stage but to be aware of when the
depression stage sets in. Thats what scares me. I
just needed to know if that should happen, what do I
look for and how do I help. My daughter and I are
very close. She's my best friend. Hopefully, with
God's help, I'll know what to do if that time comes.
Thanks so much for responding. My daughter has
been on a Trisomy 18 Support Group on Line for several
months and has really helped her. The people here on
this website such as yourself have really been a help
to me. Thanks again and will stay in touch. Pat, Ma
Ma to Catherine Renee'.
