Pat,
My mother worries too. I am sure she has spoken with others about how to
help us. She reads books about grief and stuff like that. I think it is
normal for a mother to worry about her daughter. In a way you are grieving
for two. You grieve the loss of your grandchild but you also worry about
your daughter.
Please stay in touch.
It has been almost 2 months now since Tyler passed. It does get easier as
the time passes. I actually cant believe that we are doing as well as we
are. I contribute that a lot to how much my mom has helped us. She cooked
for us, took us on a 2 week Carribean cruise, and now that we are back she
is still helping us out with small things. I also think being off of work
has helped me really grieve and deal with it all. I dont feel the stress of
trying to shove it down and go to work. I will go back in another month. I
think this is really beneficial for my recovery.

Hi Erin,
Thanks so much for the help and support. I know
you converse on line with Mandy and I am thankful for
your being there for her. I think she is doing O.K.
I guess its just a "Mother's worry" but I can't help
it. She is strong and is very lucky because she has a
wonderful, caring and supportive husband. I've cooked
for them most of this week and I think the nutritional
value helped her physically and thus emotionally too.
We also talked about walking next week at the local
track. Today, there seemed to be more smiles than
tears and it made me feel so good to see my daughter
that way again. However, I know there will still many
more bad days ahead. Thanks again, Erin. I'll be in
touch again, I'm sure, if thats alright with you.
You, Tyler, Catherine Renee', Mandy & Todd will
always remembered in my prayers. Pat, Ma Ma to
Catherine Renee'
