What a wonderful way to think of it!  We were always thankful that God gave
Erin to us rather than someome else.  We're at the point where we can look
back and smile over the time we shared with her.
Paul, I don't know if I thanked you for the kind offers of help when we went
through our experience with our son Loren. If not: Thanks!  That's another
example of seeing all the good that came out of something bad.  Besides how
well he's come through it all, he also reconnected with his daughter he
hadn't seen in several years;  his exwife and sons are planning to move out
to this area; he's returned to the church, and due to living here as he's
been recuperating, he has become much closer to all of us.  Miracles do
happen!
