[tri-wings] My amazing experience

Hi everyone
On Monday I had an amazing experience. Firstly I'll tell a little of Sophies
Story. I knew Sophie had T18 when I was 23 weeks pregnant and of course decided
we would continue with my pregnancy. When the time drew nearer for Sophie to be
born, (she was due May 10), and not knowing how things would be, I used to say
to my husband "I hope Sophie gets to see the bluebells". I have always loved
these British native flowers, they grow wild in our hedgerows and woodland at
this time of year. They are so delicate and smell absolutely lovely.

We were blessed to have one wonderful summer with our beautiful baby Sophie and
one of our first trips, she was six days old, was to take Sophie to see the
bluebells. We picked one for her and I still have it.

We have been wondering how to mark Sophies first birthday (24 May), I thought I
would plant a tree. I have been visiting several garden centres to see what we
could have. I went to a garden centre today and as I turned to my left, I saw
two trays of bluebells, not the cultivated variety, but British native woodland
bluebells!!! Needless to say, I bought them all. I think Sophie was telling me
that she doesn't want a tree, but bluebells instead. I feel so close to her and
I know she is still with me, leading me on.

I couldn't wait to tell my hubby so I rung him as soon as I got home. At the
very time I rung he was standing in a customers garden looking at a mass of
bluebells, how amazing is that? Sophie is still around us. I have planted
Sophies bluebells under our big cherry tree in the front garden, which is in
full blossom and looks spectacular.

Just wanted to share my experience, I hope you enjoy reading

love Sharon XX
