[tri-wings] Re: My Mom - Sheila

Oh Sheila,

I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. My heart and prayers are
with you and your family over the next few days. May God give you the
strength to get through the funeral and packing up her home. We are all
here if you need us.

Much love to you and your family,

Subject: [tri-wings] My Mom

Hi everyone,
I just wanted everyone to know that after sitting at my mom's bedside =20
since April 12th, my mom passed away on April 24th. She was waiting =20
for her kidney function to improve so that they could do a 4-bypass =20
surgery on her heart, none of which had been caught in other stress =20
tests. Her kidneys didn't improve but continued to get worse. Her =20
heart also continued to get worse. We were in Sioux Falls, so we =20
were also in hotel rooms. Not fun.

We have had a long two weeks. The funeral is Saturday, so I had =20
hoped that today would be a day to relax. No such luck. My sister-=20
in-law and brother want to get Mom's apartment cleared out this =20
weekend. I can hardly even think about going back there right now, =20
but my brother lives in Des Moines and doesn't want to have to make =20
an extra trip. He and his wife are both retired so it should not =20
make a difference to them. I just want this time for peace.

Hugs,
Sheila Helleson
