I am so sorry to hear about your mom's death.  It is so hard to say goodbye
to your mom.  You must be exhausted.  I hope that you are able to find some
down-time.

I am sending thoughts your way that you are able to find some peace and that
the funeral on Saturday is beautiful.

Hi everyone,
I just wanted everyone to know that after sitting at my mom's bedside  
since April 12th, my mom passed away on April 24th.  She was waiting  
for her kidney function to improve so that they could do a 4-bypass  
surgery on her heart, none of which had been caught in other stress  
tests. Her kidneys didn't improve but continued to get worse.  Her  
heart also continued to get worse.  We were in Sioux Falls, so we  
were also in hotel rooms.  Not fun.

We have had a long two weeks.  The funeral is Saturday, so I had  
hoped that today would be a day to relax.  No such luck.  My sister- 
in-law and brother want to get Mom's apartment cleared out this  
weekend.  I can hardly even think about going back there right now,  
but my brother lives in Des Moines and doesn't want to have to make  
an extra trip.  He and his wife are both retired so it should not  
make a difference to them.  I just want this time for peace.
