Try not to take it so hard, I'm sure that Thom just wasn't thinking.  I know
it's hard when something is focused in your mind and then your partner
doesn't quite get it - as wonderful as my hubby is, he definately is still a
man - no offense to you men out there, you're just wired differently than
us.  (Did I smoothe that over pretty good?LOL)  Since Leslie was not his
daughter, remember that he really doesn't know what you've been through.
People can only imagine, unless they've experienced it, so they might miss
those important moments and not realize it.

I'm glad that you were happy with the stone.
