[tri-wings] March of Dimes Update

Well we finally have the approximate total of money raised in honor of Laura 
Virginia Huey.  My school with the help of my family, friends and co-workers 
raised $6000.  Our original goal was $3000 and they decided to try and double 
it when Laura gained her wings.  We did it!!!!!  Robert and I could not be 
happier or prouder of our sweet little girl.  It allowed us to continue to live 
her life without her being here.  The head of the local program has requested 
to meet us Saturday.  So we are just thrilled.  On Saturday, many family and 
friends will be walking with us at the March of Dimes.  All of my family has 
shirts that are a bright yellow with "Morrow High School Walking in Honor of 
Laura Huey".  The school has the same shirts but in white.  All family and 
close family friends will wear a button with Laura's picture on it as well.  We 
will walk three miles in our precious angel's honor and  memory.  I know it 
will be a tough day and emotional day but I hope we can somehow help research 
to keep just one child from suffering the way Laura did.  Then her life will 
have more of a purpose than to just be my precious little girl.  

We have received Robert's Chromosome study back and he is perfectly normal (in 
the sense of chromosomes anyway  LOL).  Now we wait for mine.  They are suppose 
to be back tomorrow.  I hope we have reason to celeberate on Saturday for more 
than just raising the money.  I don't know if I can make it through another 
weekend without knowing.
