Hiya, things are going good. Alfie starts to school in two weeks time :-(
what will I do with myself ? LOL.
Barry's eldest left home, the next one down started to work, the next one
starts his last year at school and is so madly in love its sickening :-)and
the next one is fast becoming a chip off the old block (poor girl).
We are thinking that maybe we will look at foster care but there are still a
few creases to iron out before we go ahead. Barry's job just saw him
transfer back to London so he is living away during the week at the moment
and we need to decide which of us would give up work and become full time
carer. I love my job but could easily walk away.
Barry had to have his gastric band released as his oesophagus had stretched
and in spite of the fact that he lost weight, he still can't get life
insurance so this may well affect decisions on us fostering. (no life
insurance means no mortgage paid ).Being me, I have said that we have to
have a child/children who we would have long term and who would otherwise
struggle to be placed .Because of our stupid government there is a twenty
mile rule in place where the child has to be within 20 miles of "home" and
because of where we live it kind of limits us.If we lived more in the center
of England we would have a whole different ball game.Added to all of that we
would have a drop in income and then there are the other kids to take into
account ......... Watch this space :-)

Hope all is well with all of you.
hugs
Mandy
