Mandy,
It is sooooo good to see you back and posting. I've missed you! I'm glad
that Alfie has a routine and sorry that you don't yet know what it is yet.
Alphie is just a little younger than Bridge (6.5 mo.) and he is just now
getting into his routine enough that my son and d-i-l think they know what
is happening next. After his bout with acid reflux (for which he still takes
meds), he has been the happiest little boy. :) I think we used to call the
same thing colic (sp??), but i guess the name doesn't matter. Their
daughter, Cadence, is also having "stomach" problems. I talked to Wade last
night and they are going to be having more tests done next Tuesday to find
out why she is seeming to be in so much pain when they can't find any
obstructions or reasons for it. My heart just goes out to any child that is
crying from pain and WE - the adults - can't seem to help!
Cheryl's baby is 4 weeks old today, and I know that she is feeling that same
stress. She is a person who likes to "get things done". She is having a
fit because she hasn't gotten her "thank you's" done and hasn't gotten the
birth announcements out yet! Ali is taking all of her time and has been
very fussy. Cheryl thinks she may be having stomach problems, too, or just
not getting enough milk. They have been in constant contact with the
lactation specialist and the doctor since she was born and seem to have
tried just about everything. I, of course, tell her to just relax. Things
will get better. And, of course, I wish I could be there with her.
But the purpose of this is welcome you back with your words of encouragement
and support. I know I have missed you. And thanks for the "direction".
