Dear Stacey,
I am sorry that your family is not going ahead with the balloon release for 
Leslie,  I know how you agonised over the decision to have Christian's 
baptism on Leslie's angel day......... maybe you can still go ahead 
yourself, just you and Thom?
As for feeling guilt about decisions made for Leslie that is another issue 
and you need to see someone, a counsellor, to thrash that guilt feeling 
about and make it go away.  A similar thing happened to me six years after 
Louise died I met the woman who would ultimately lead me to send a letter to 
SOFT USA which in turn ultimately lead me to meet Karen and all of you and 
that sent my world into a tail spin, I was feeling enormous guilt, grief and 
anger and I would cry at the drop of a hat.  I took my self off to a grief 
counsellor which involved 'introducing' her to Louise via photos and video 
and talking through all my feelings (six sessions in all)  she was wonderful 
and it was tremendously cathartic for me and made me feel a whole lot better 
about a lot aspects of Louise's care, life and death.  I don't know if this 
would work for you but I would try.  This counsellor was a member of my 
church at the time and she was an angel sent by God to me.
