Dear Kay

First of all, Im so sorry about Donna's pregnancy.  The poor thing must be 
sorely disappointed.  I remember when I got pregnant (despite being 
horrified) I finally thought something was going to go right for me, AT 
LAST.  I thought, even if my boyfriend does leave I will still have my 
perfect little baby and nothing can touch us.

PHHHHHHHTTTTTTTT!  Wrong again!  It just felt like a kick in the face, but a 
really bad one.  Of course things always go wrong in my life, that is the 
way it is, but I really felt it was unfair to have taken my bad luck (or 
whatever) out on my baby.

Right now DOnna will be feeling exactly the same.  We ALWAYS take it out on 
those closest to us, in this case its you and her boyf.  Because her 
boyfriend can run off at the drop of a hat, its left to you.  (By the way, 
what the HELL was he doing going to the PUB at a time like this! She really 
does need to get rid of him.)

I dont what to say to make it easier for you, but right now her head is 
spinning.  She will not even realise she is taking it out on you.  Sometimes 
needs to take the wrap for this (in her head) and its seems as if it will be 
you for now.

She does really love you and she will soon see what is going on in her head. 
  Please just hang in there, it will sort itself out.  I think you are maybe 
right about giving her some space, so that you dont have to cope with it.

There is no right and wrong and I cant give you much advice as I dont know 
her personally, but I will be thinking of you and hoping she sorts herself 
out.  There is only so much you can do as a mother, remember that.  Youa re 
not superwoman.
