Oh Katie,  you shoouldn't have to have this happen so soon after losing
little Abigail.  It has to be really hard on your mother too.  I'm sure
that's why she told you about it; no one could expect you to be supportive
to his wishes.  How old is your grandfather?  Kim's grandpa wanted to die
the last couple years of his life--the sad thing was his mind was great, but
his health was lousy.
It's a comfort to know he's in heaven with Erin now, I'm sure he's giving
her the hugs I can't.

I'm hoping your dog is back by the time you get this.  I said a quick prayer
to St. Anthony for a safe return.  St. Anthony always seems to  work for me.
We'll also keep your grandfather and your family in our thoughts and
prayers.
