Dear Kristy,
My heart and prayers go out to you right now. Thank you so much for
telling us about Karly Rose. Isn't it amazing how she made such an impact on
the world when she really couldn't do that much? Everyone has already said
what I would tell you...welcome although we wish you didn't have to be here,
keep the notebook for later, the grief will always be there but maybe not as
raw as right now and I too have felt "bad?" about how normal life was
without Michelle. I have a Tupperware box with a lot of Michelle's things.
I don't look at it often but I find comfort in knowing that it is there in
the closet. It took me 2 years to write Michelle's story down and finish a
scrapbook with her pictures. I guess it was my way of keeping the feelings
from becoming to hard to handle. Everyone handles grief differently yet we
share some very similar experiences.
May God give you a peace that wraps you in His love.
