Deanna,
My kids don't talk a lot about Michelle though and never how they feel about
her life and death. They will talk about memories of her life but not how
it affected them. Even right after she died, they just went on like nothing
happened...playing and laughing. The grief counselor said that's normal and
they will handle it as they need to. But I worry too and try to give them
opportunities to talk. But so far no one has said anything about their
feelings...the most I ever got was one time, one of them said that they were
sad Michelle was gone.
I guess us mom's and our relationships with our little ones makes it
different. I'll talk about Michelle to anyone who will listen. So it is
good to have this list and a few friends that have also lost a child.
